We have known for a while now about The Hunger Games theme park that is being planned in Dubai. Now we are getting word about a theme park based on The Hunger Games is making its way to the US. The park is to be based within the Avatron Theme Park that calls Atlanta home. It actually makes sense, as much of the film was filmed in the surrounding area.

The park will be a recreation of District 12 and include many memorable film locales including Peeta’s bakery and the Hob. You’ll also be able to wander around as park cast members in full costume will populate the District. The big draw will be the parks roller coaster that is modeled around the high-speed trains that can be seen throughout the films.
