Our favorite young Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, seemed to be suffering from an elevated midi-chlorian count while out on the town the other day. TMZ is reporting that everyone’s favorite future Darth Vader was driving in Charleston, SC, when Sheriff’s deputies began to chase him in pursuit. No word yet on the reason that the chase initiated, but odds are he was deep in a Pod Race reenactment.

Jake Lloyd, the actor in question, eventually lost control of whatever he may have been driving, ran off the road, smashed through a fence, and came to a stop after hitting a number of trees. I’m sure Watto is going to be pissed about the damage.
