Arrow star Stephen Amell is making the movie from small screen to the big screen, but it’s not what you might think.
Mr. Oliver Queen himself will play Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. Those that grew up with TMNT will know Casey Jones as the hockey mask wearing, hockey stick swinging, hero that pals around with the Turtles from time to time.
While Amell was auditioning with a number of other actors for the role, Variety reports that his chemistry with Paramount and his audition quickly landed him the role.
He will be join current TMNT stars Megan Fox (April O’Neil) and Will Arnett (Vernon Fenwick) for the yet untitled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel. Director David Green is be tapped to get this next installment on the big screens TMNT2’s director.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2 will hit theaters on June 3, 2016.
