Assassin’s Creed Rogue gets remastered on PS4 and Xbox One

Today, Ubisoft announced that Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will be available on March 20th, 2018, for the PS4 and Xbox One. To be honest, this is the one Assassin’s Creed game that I totally skipped out on. I’m pretty sure this one came out smack in the middle of two other Creed titles that came out the same year. Sometimes you can have too much of something, no matter how good it might be.

If I’m not mistaken this was originally a 360 title that was tossed at fans that had not upgraded to the new generation consoles with Black Flag. I could be wrong, but I don’t remember hearing all that much about it when it released, being overshadowed by the excellent Black Flag. But since I skipped this one the first time, as I think many did, this is a smart move as I’d like to get the complete Kenway saga story since simply as I’ve invested all this time already on crazy aliens and crap.

Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered will include all of the downloadable content from the original game: two bonus missions (The Armor of Sir Gunn Quest and The Siege of Fort de Sable), as well as the Master Templar and Explorer packs, which contain weapons, customization items and special outfits, including Bayek’s legacy outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Initially launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2014, Assassin’s Creed Rogue tells the unique story of Shay Patrick Cormac, a fearless young member of the Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, who undergoes a dark transformation from an Assassin to a grim and committed Templar who hunts down his former brothers. Players’ journeys will take them from beautiful New York City to the Wild River Valley and icy cold waters of the North Atlantic.
