Marvel continues to move forward with a number of new film projects based on their deep trove of costumed heroes. But while I sit and wait on that Great Lakes Avengers spin-off film, Marvel has released some new images that show off Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Strange.
The images appear in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly and show the Sorcerer Supreme in full regalia, and you can check them out below. We also learned that Hannibal actor Mads Mikkelsen has singed on to play the films main antagonist.
His character is play the leader –no name yet– of a sect of sorcerers that break away from the teaching go The Ancient One looking to allow the mystic things from other dimensions through into our world. Doctor Strange drops November 4th of next year.
