Famed Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher has reportedly suffered a heart attack while traveling  to LAX this afternoon. Entertainment site TMZ broke the story shortly after it happened.

LAX airport police also confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that units did respond to someone undergoing a medical emergency during an incoming flight. They did not identify the victim.

TMZ is reporting that the incident happened 15 minutes before the plane landed. An EMT who was onboard the plane was alerted and administered life-saving measures.
