Dumb and Dumber To has me pretty skeptical. It’s coming out a good twenty years after the first one, which is never a good sign. But Dumb and Dumber is one of the few Farrelly Bros movies that is still funny, and Jeff Daniels (who won an Emmy for his work on The Newsroom) and Jim Carrey aren’t exactly hurting for work, so I think it’s safe to assume they wouldn’t sign on if the script was shitty. Anyway, Carrey and Daniels took to Twitter this morning to show us the first posters for the new film.
Not bad! I like the minimalist approach. Weird, I just used the word “minimalist” while talking about the sequel to a film that had Jeff Daniels violently shitting himself. Dumb and Dumber To hits theaters on November 14.
