Creed: Rise to Glory Puts You In The Middle Of The Action

Creed: Rise to Glory

I still wonder what happened to the birthday robot. I should really Google it.

I never really got to see Creed in the theaters; which is a shame, as I heard it’s a pretty good movie (but no Rocky VII: Adrian’s Revenge).

But one of the many things to come out of this year’s GDC is the VR title Creed: Rise to Glory. Developed by Suvios, it’s set to give you a real boxing experience in game form.

And I mean real; you’re not going to get away with the usual minimal motion control gestures. From all accounts, the game actually expects you to throw real punches at your digital opponent.

Which means that lumpy, noodle-armed potato men are going to have a fair amount of difficulty playing the game. Or you can look on the bright side; it’ll be a great way to get in better shape. Because you’ll have to if you want to get far in the game. It’s all about change.

Creed: Rise to Glory is set to come out later this year.
