Death Stranding Plot Synopsis Leaks Ahead Of Kojima Announcement

Hideo Kojima had a big announcement planned for his upcoming game, Death Stranding, tomorrow. But the best laid plans of mice and men, right? Because the synopsis for the game leaked over on ResetEra. The synopsis:

Sam Bridges must brave a world utterly transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the stranded remnants of the future in his hands, Sam embarks on a journey to reunite the shattered world one step at a time. What is the mystery of the Death Stranding? What will Sam discover on the road ahead? A genre defining gameplay experience holds these answers and more.

If you’ve been following the game’s development, Death Stranding certainly seems to have that Kojima symbolism going. Sam Bridges (Norman Reedus) appears to have the weight of the word on his shoulders. Hey, maybe that’s what the Funky Fetus is representative of?

Regardless, Kojima’s announcement goes live tomorrow. Death Stranding is currently slated to be a PlayStation 4 title, though it wouldn’t be surprising to find that it will have cross-pay features with the upcoming PlayStation 5.
