ESPN Makes Player Change Street Fighter V Character’s Costume

Standards & Practices hates fun, pass it on.

ESPN’s coverage of EVO 17 (it’s still a mindblower, I know) had one little hiccup. And that hiccup was, apparently, Cammy‘s ass.

More specifically, with her default, high-waisted thong th-thong-thong thong leotard. To the point that they stopped the match to ask Kazunoko (the player in question) to change her outfit to her formal one, which covers the whole booty (he was able to play one match before ESPN took issue with an ass shot). Which is exactly what they did last year in regards to Rainbow MikaBut I personally thank our Lord God that ESPN was brave enough to spare the sight of many, many young people from the lewdness of the female posterior. The request was made at the behest of Broadcast Standards in both incidents.

Honestly, it’s almost a shame Poison isn’t in Street Fighter V. I’d love to watch ESPN figure out the “proper” course of action, there.
