Shenzhen, China borders the city of Hong Kong. You can probably guess what that means; smuggling, and tons of it. And bootlegs, but they’re not the important thing right now. iPhones are.
A woman was caught trying to board a plane with 102 iPhones strapped across her body, under her clothes. She was also trying to smuggle 15 luxury wristwatches, but that’s immaterial. She was caught when customs officers noticed how… odd.. she looked.
Sadly, her attempt is hardly record setting; that one goes to the man who attempted to smuggle 146 iPhones in much the same way. Though, considering how svelte she is, it’s still pretty impressive. Stupid, but impressive. She should be glad that they weren’t Samsung devices, though.
