My love for The Conjuring – and hatred of clean underwear – is well known around these parts. Basically, I think it’s a goddamn masterpiece and the best exorcism movie since The Exorcist. Fans of The Conjuring will remember Annabelle, the creepy-ass doll at the beginning of the film. A spinoff film, cleverly titled Annabelle, is coming out this October, and you can see the first trailer below.
Pretty well-done trailer – slower and more methodical than most horror movie trailers, which is surprising given that the director, John R. Leonetti, is probaby best known for directing Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.
And just for laughs, here’s the real-life Lorraine Warren with the real-life Annabelle, which was, uh, significantly creepier in The Conjuring.
