Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” is a live-action re-telling of the studio’s animated classic which refashions the classic characters from the tale as old as time for a contemporary audience, staying true to the original music while updating the score with several new songs.
The trailer sets up a wonderful looking world that goes to great length to capture that animated feel. The sets look gorgeous and everyone involved seems to be on point with their performances.
Live-action retelling of Disney animated classics have been pretty hit or miss, so we are excited, but wary of how this may play out. But at the very least it’s clear that we will be getting a visually stunning spectacle.
