Hey Mr. Passerby!
Back in the day, before Adult Swim had loads of (Awesome) late-night trash to pump onto the airwaves, it had Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law. And it was glorious. And then it ended (after an Ace Attorney style game which supposedly wrapped things up). But not without leaving us with miles of excellent cartoon-based jokes.
Well, it’s coming back, in half- hour special form. Titled Harvey Birdman, Attorney General, the special revolves around Phil Ken Sebben (Stephen Colbert) becoming President and appointing Harvey (Gary Cole) as his Attorney General. But Harvey’s not going to use the office to to serve Phil; instead, he’s going to use it to hopefully get him out of office. And this isn’t the first time PHil’s had political ambitions… it’s just the first time he’s been successful.
Most of the original cast is set to reprise their roles. Adult Swim has kept everything else close to the vest, though. That said, more Birdman is never a bad thing.
And so, I must close this out with a question that is frankly never far from my own mind…
