HIDEit Mounts Xbox Series X & Series S Wall Mounts

HIDEitMounts

HIDEit Mounts is back again with their latest line of wall mounts for the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S and the company reached out to send some units over. So, we are unboxing both and see how these new mounts stack up to their previous outings and how you can/might use them to get an amazingly clean gaming room setup.

The Series X mount features a unique wrap design that ensures that your Xbox is secure in the mount while also maintaining maximum airflow. It creates an almost invisible look that makes your console seem like its floating in your wall. Each mount also features a tab that helps to prevent sliding and the countersunk holes allow for a flush installation that won’t add bulk to your game console and prevent and sort of scratching. The mount helps keep your Xbox safe from accidental damage, save space, and organize your gaming setup, something essentially for those of you out there who live in a place where space is a premium.

Each mount can also be mounted in a vertical or horizontal position for the perfect look. Get a horizontal look if you are mounting your console below or about your television, or use the vertical position to have a clean look next to your television. What’s ever nicer is that with the Series S, you can totally hide the console behind the television since the console it all digital. If you are looking for that super clean Instagram ready setup, then this is the way to go. Another nice feature is the VESA compatible holes so you can mount the console onto its only movable mount or mount it directly to the back of your television, saving you from drilling holes if you live in a place where that isn’t feasible.

All HIDEit Mounts feature a powder-coat finish to protect your console from scratches. Not only that, but this means that the mounts is probably going to be some of the most durable things in your entire home and easily last a lifetime of use. Hell, you can probably pass these things down with how durable they are. There are a lot of mounting options out there, some for a lot less that the reasonable $40 for the Series X mount and $35 for the Series S console.

Most of these cheap mounts feature a strap system in order to fit the “universal” moniker that Amazon loves, but I wouldn’t trust them. If you are going to spend hundreds of dollars on a console that you will be using for years, you don’t want to go cheap, especially if you are mounting it way up on a wall. A fall from that height is almost certain death and isn’t worth saving the price of a Carl’s Jr. value meal.

I’ve been using HIDEit Mounts since their Xbox 360 series and have mounts for every console since. I’ve moved twice during that time and even moved consoles to and from an office setting. And even now, every mount looks as new as the day they came in, so I can attest to the quality over time. If you are going to mount your console, new or old, this is the only system that I trust and recommend.
