It’s chances of being good just skyrocketed.

Hey, remember how Suicide Squad was the DC Extended Universe’s most aggressively average film until Justice League? Well, the sequel might have a shot at actually being good, now. Because they’ve hired James Gunn to write it.

I genuinely don’t want the DCEU movies to suck (they have just mostly happened to); I actually want them to be good. And for Suicide Squad, James Gunn is a good choice. He can work wonders with an ensemble, and that’s what the ‘Squad is. Let’s just hope he doesn’t get any phials of blood or pig carcasses sent to him from Jared Leto.
