The Blade Runner sequel is coming along nicely with a pretty amazing cast involved. With Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Robin Wright, Ana de Armas, Dave Bautista and more onboard, you can expect some pretty amazing things (fingers crossed). Casting is now done on the project, but one new face has joined the cast just in time; Academy Award winner Jared Leto.
Now word on who he is going to play, but it’s pretty exciting news, especially after his vocal dislike of his turn as Joker in Suicide Squad. Here’s to hoping he didn’t feel tricked into this role! Very little about the plot is known other than it is set several years after the original.
Production is set to get underway sometime next month. We can all watch C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate on October 6, 2017.
