Jump Street & Men In Black Crossover In The Works

Jump Street Men In Black

Sony is still reeling from the hack that compromised its servers that exposed a plethora of private information from the studio and its actors. While we still don’t know the full extent of the hack, or the parties behind it, a lot of movie news has been exposed because of it.

We learned, via company emails that have come to light, that the next Jump Street will be a sort of crossover with the Men In Black franchise. The Wall Street Journal has more details and is noting that the film will be more 23 Jump Street than Men In Black 4. The story would center around C-Tates and Jonah Hill fighting aliens in some capacity, probably from a secret base located at 23 Jump Street. Men In Black 3 was not the it that Sony expected it to be, so the studio wants to revive the franchise by bringing in the R-rated Jump Street team.

Sure, it sounds like a dumb idea on paper, but you have to remember that both of these films are quite silly as it is. The worlds could easily collide and its been noted that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones would only serve as cameos in some small capacity, or exclude them completely with their characters being only call backs as team Jump Street enters the MIB.
