It’s been some 25 years since Arnold Schwarzenegger screamed a little children in the now classic Kindergarten Cop. It look as though we will be getting a sequel to that film, but cool your jets as this isn’t quite the movie you are expecting.

It looks as if Mr. Schwarzenegger’s Expendables co-star, Dolph Lundgren is taking up the mantel for the sequel. Kindergarten Cop 2 is being done through Universal Family Entertainment which means the odds of it hitting the big screen is pretty slim, with this one going the VOD route.

Still, it the movie could make for a fun time as the formula seems to be staying pretty much the same. Kindergarten Cop 2 is slatted to come out sometime in 2016, and now that some behind the scenes shoots have come out, we should be hearing official word from Universal very soon.
