Madison McLaughlin is no stranger to the Arrow-verse as her brief turn on the series as a teen vigilante struck a chord with fans and those in charge. The character of Evelyn Sharp made her mark while impersonating Black Canary to seek revenge on those that killed her parents.
She will return in an arc during season 5 playing the character of Artemis. Those familiar with their DC and Green Arrow lore will know the character well. Artemis is the young protegé of Green Arrow, but her past is one that is conflicted.
The character really came to prominence during the fantastic Young Justice cartoon series that ran on Cartoon Network. In fact, fans of that series have been making pushes to have it return for new seasons on Netflix. This new blood should spice things up on Arrow and bring a nice younger twist to Oliver’s quest for justice.
