Man Threatens Square Enix With Fire Like The One Kyoto Animation Suffered

Dude, you don’t have engineers capable of making combustible lemons.

The Kyoto Animation fire earlier this year was a disaster, and horrific to the Japanese animation industry. Which is why it’s probably not a great idea to threaten such a fire against another company due to your own personal dissatisfaction. Especially a company like, I don’t know, Square Enix.

Well, that’s exactly what a 40-year-old Japanese delivery man did and got arrested for. Apparently it was over not getting a refund for one of their games that he didn’t like. According to the police report, he made some aggressive demands, eventually threatening to burn them down in a fire reminiscent of the one that happened to Kyoto Animation. Apparently, the reason he wanted a refund was due to the fact that he kept losing in the game. My thoughts:

Also from the police report the man admitted to the threats. Though, later, he claimed they were just a joke.
