We finally have a good look at Matt Ryan, in full garb, as the title character in the NBC drama pilot ‘Constantine’. And let me us be the first to say that he is looking spot on, minus his signature cigarette of course, because… the children!

Constantine is a long running DC property who specializes in hunting demons (he’s never to thrilled with it) and is currently the lead character in DC comics ‘Justice League: Dark’.

The pilot was written by NBC veteran and former ‘The Mentalist’ executive producer Daniel Cerone from a story  that he helped write with the help of Hollywood alum David S. Goyer.

We look forward to seeing how NBC continues to develop this show as so far it’s looking spot on.
