Are you ready for a new version of Something Wicked This Way Comes?

Since the entertainment landscape these days is nothing but a revolving door of properties being continuously rebooted and remade, Disney has announced plans for a new adaptation of Ray Bradbury’s seminal novel Something Wicked This Way Comes.

According to Vulture, the Mouse House has tapped Seth Grahame-Smith to write the new screenplay. Grahame-Smith is the author of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, and the screenwriter responsible for classic pieces of shit like Dark Shadows, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, and the forthcoming Beetlejuice sequel. No word on when Something Wicked is set to be released, but I think the big questions that need answering are “When will Tim Burton’s name be attached?” and “Who will Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter play?”
