Mega wow!

It’s been the majority of a decade, and now it’s time for Mega Man 11.Capcom’s finally decided to come back to the Blue Bomber, and in a big way.

Not only will the new game be 2.5D (3D models on a 2D plane, like Mega Man Powered Up and Maverick Hunter X), but it’s introducing a few new things. For one, new powers won’t be represented with just a palette swap; you appear to take on some physical aspects on the Robot Masters. Also, the aesthetic seem to have been passed on from Mega Man 8, rather than the deliberately retro Mega Man 9-10.

They also gave us a taste of what I can only assume is a new buster charge level, with some sort of deliberate downside to balance.

So Yeah, get hyped. Mega Man 11 is supposed to release sometime in 2018. For Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.
