Mega Man live-action film is on the way

Mega Man 11 is a really good game that has put the blue bomber back in the good graces of fans. So, that means that Capcom is going to ride this pony to the bank with the announcement of a live-action film starring the robot hero.

20th Century Fox is handling the film which is set to be written and directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. You may know the duo best for a handful of Paranormal Activity movies for what that’s worth.

Capcom stated that the film will be “sased on the influential and globally beloved Mega Man franchise, Capcom aims to appeal to a diverse audience, including not only game players but action movie fans as well, with an adaptation that maintains the world of the Mega Man games, while incorporating the grand production and entertainment value that Hollywood movies are known for,”
