Michael B. Jordan To Star In Rainbow Six Film

Rainbow Six

Without Remorse.

Tom Clancy sure did build up some ontological inertia, considering he’s been dead for half a decade. And now, his novel Without Remorse (which was a Rainbow Six prequel, to boot) is getting adapted to film. And Michael B. Jordan has been tapped to play the film’s lead, John Clark.

Paramount plans to adapt Without Remorse first, using it as a lead-in to a Rainbow Six film franchise. Jordan will serve as a producer for the film as well, alongside Josh Appelbaum and Corrin Nemec. Akiva Goldsman (Titans), however, will be the main producer for the films.

Several others have tried adapting Without Remorse in the past. None of them could really manage it, due to how dark and violent the novel was, though. We’ll see how this one does, I guess.
