Sand? Sand. Sand!
Since Natalie Portman hosted last weeks Saturday Night Live, it’s only fitting that she get a throwback. In this case, to her rap persona from a 2006 episode of the show. And since that song wound up on Lonely Island”s Incredibad (2009) it’s really only fitting that Andy Samberg came back to perform the new song with her.
During the new song, there’s a moment that makes reference to the Star Wars Prequels. She dares the interviewer, at gunpoint, to say something bad about the prequels. Which almost seems unnecessary, considering what’s happened since The Last Jedi came out. But I’ll bite: I really liked the fight between Wallace and Mace Windu Wensleydale.
