Nature found a way to cast BD Wong in Jurassic World

Add another Law & Order alum to the already impressive cast of Jurassic World, because BD Wong has signed on to reprise the role of Henry Wu, last seen in the original Jurassic Park. He joins Chris Pratt (Parks and Recreation), Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help), and the previously announced Vincent D’Onofrio, late of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, a show that replaced him with Jeff Goldblum, who was in Jurassic Park! As True Detective‘s Rust Cohle would say, time is a flat circle. I think that applies here.

Wong is an underutilized actor in my opinion, and his Dr. Huang was one of my favorite characters on Law & Order: SVU. Jurassic World will be directed by Colin Trevorrow, who directed Safety Not Guaranteed, which you should really check out if you haven’t already.

Jurassic World will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.
