Following a brief clip that premiered during the Super Bowl, Michael Bay has now released the first full-length trailer for Transformers: Age of Extinction, which was probably plan B after no one would let Bay call it Transformers: Dinobots, Motherfucker!!! Let’s take a look.
Well. Let’s put it this way: you’d have to be pretty stupid to get excited for Revenge of the Fallen or Dark of the Moon; you’d have to be stupid not to get excited for Age of Extinction. This thing looks ri-goddamn-diculous in the best way.
Apart from Mark Wahlberg – who plays an inventor, which someone had to suggest without laughing – Age of Extinction also stars Jack Reynor (Delivery Man) and Nicola Peltz, who I naturally assumed was a model before finding out she’s an actual actress; she was in The Last Airbender and Bates Motel and everything!
I’m on board for any movie that has a truck using a sword to bitch-slap a dinosaur. I’m pretty sure I just figured out how writer Ehren Kruger pitched this one to Michael Bay.
