Origin services have reportedly been hacked

Origin

Origin services have been hacked. Reports are surfacing on via Reddit that the service has been compromised with users reporting a number of unauthorized purchases in the form of FIFA games and farm coins. We know this to be the case as one of our own editors suffered a breach of his account.

Electronic Arts customer service seems to be on the case, but it does seem to be a hassle finding out just how to contact them. We are currently awaiting for a phone call back from a EA representative to have more details on the matter soon. Whether or not you actively use the service on a regular basis (Our contributor notes that he’s only ever made one paid purchase) it would be a good idea to change your passwords.

A statement from EA says they are investigating the matter. With the amount of hacks that have gone on the past week or so, it would be a good idea to do a full check of all your online services and make the appropriate changes.
