Ghost Machine’s Oculus Rift VR Motorcycle Racer SuperBike TT Greenlit for Steam

Digital VR Studio Ghost Machine announced today that their second major VR release, SuperBike TT has been approved by the Steam Greenlight community for inclusion in the growing Steam VR games library. This release will mark the second VR game Ghost Machines will offer to customers on the digital downloading service following Motorsport Revolution, which went into Early Access on the popular games service in September.

“We could not be more excited to offer SuperBike TT on Steam. Seeing the growing support of VR in the games community as a whole shows the promise for developers who are taking the risk to focus on developing VR native games before the hardware is commercially available.”, stated Neal Nellans, CEO of Ghost Machine.

An early playable demo of SuperBike TT, was shown at the 2014 SXSW Gaming Expo and has steadily grown fans since then. “SuperBike TT was my studios first VR demo. It was made with the now defunct DK1 developer hardware and really struck players as a completely new experience. We have come a long way since then, and this game will really shine on the latest VR hardware taking advantage of the newer technology.”, Nellans added.

SuperBike TT is expected to ship on Steam with support for the latest Oculus Rift head mounted display as well as a Standard version for those not owning a Rift headset in March of 2015 with the final release date to be announced.
