I don’t know if I’m excited for Gotham…the premise certainly has merit, but is Fox just going to do a “Muppet Babies” version of Batman? Consider me cautiously optimistic. Oh wait, I just remembered that man-god Donal Logue is in it – nevermind, I’m totally on board.

So far all we’ve heard about it is casting, which has been fun to watch (for instance, The O.C.‘s Ben McKenzie playing a young Jim Gordon). But now a draft of the pilot script has leaked. It’s dated January 31, 2014, and titled “Second Network Draft,” so it should definitely be taken seriously.

I prefer to be at least a little surprised, so I’ve avoided reading it or even reading about it. But if you’re so inclined, this piece at io9 should sate your curiosity.
