Huh. So I guess this dumbass Point Break remake is still happening. Gerard Butler has already been confirmed as Bodhi, and today Alcon Entertainment and Warner Bros. announced their choice for Johnny Utah. His name is Luke Bracey, and there’s a picture of him directly below these words.

Well, he’s dreamy, obvs, which is more or less what this role demands. Can he out-act Keanu? Who the hell knows? Bracey doesn’t have an extensive resume; you might have seen him in G.I. Joe: Retaliation, or the Selena Gomez movie Monte Carlo, or the IMDb search I just did.

I’m giving this movie a lot of shit, just on general principle, but it’s worth noting that the screenplay is by Kurt Wimmer, who wrote the awesome Law Abiding Citizen.

So now we need to recast Gary Busey – good luck with that one. There’s only one Gary Busey.
