Red Dead Online Get Standalone Release This December

Red Dead Online

Grab your revolver.

Recently, Rockstar announced that they’re releasing Red Dead Online in a format separate from Red Dead Redemption 2. And you won’t be waiting long; they plan to release it digitally on December 1st on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and Steam.

Moreover, if you don’t own Red Dead Redemption 2 but want to get in on the game, they’re giving an introductory price for a little over 3 months. From December 1st to February 15th, the game will only run you $4.99, 75% off the planned price it’ll be after. And if you decide from there that you’d like to experience the story, you can unlock Red Dead Redemption 2: Story Mode for a separate charge. And the game only takes up 123 GB* of hard drive space!

You will, however, need PlayStation Plus/Xbox Live Gold if you want to play online. But the game is compatible with the PS5 Xbox Series X/S.
