Rogue One Writer Creates Talk Show Through Animal Crossing

It’s safe to say that people have been using Animal Crossing: New Horizons as something of a creative outlet. But few can claim that quite to the level Rogue One writer Gary Whitta has.

Because he’s made a talk show using the game.

Whitta teamed up with video editor/game developer Adam Nickerson to create Animal Talking, a late-night-style talk show hosted in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. And they certainly didn’t take any half measures. Gary turned his avatar’s house basement into a full on talk show set, complete with mic and guest couch. Hell, they even have a drum kit for Adam.

Whitta fully expects to get celebrity guests on the show, as he states in the clip above. And he just might get one of the ones quite relevant to the game he’s using to put on the show:
