RPG Maker MV Coming West on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch

RPG Maker MV

Flood Steam with hot garbage of your own making!

Technically, everyone knew it was happening for a while. But thanks to the NIS America booth at Anime Expo, we know for sure. Not only is RPG Maker MV coming to Switch and PS4 like the leak hinted at, it’s also coming to Xbox One.

Thanks to a partnership with Kadokawa Corporation, the console versions of RPG Maker MV is on its way west. It also comes with a free player app, which lets you play the games of others. NIS has also teased a number of settings as well, including fantasy, high school, and the occult.

So you can finally get that game you’ve been thinking of out of your head. And, as usual, the  benefits of the Switch version should be obvious, especially if you’re constantly on the go. That said, learning how to sprite certainly wouldn’t hurt. I mean it; this program does all the heavy lifting, so make your stuff pretty and unique.
