Ahead of the Defenders panel, John Bernthal took the stage to introduce a surprise trailer for The Punisher series. And it’s pretty likely to be as violent as you’d imagine.
Look, you either like The Punisher or you don’t. I’m hoping that, in the spirit of the surprises mentioned during the introduction, there’s more to the show than just the revenge plot. I’m hoping there’s some kind of twist (heard rumors of Ghost Rider – that’d be a kick in the pants). Because otherwise, it all really works better as a film rather than a series.
