Time for news to start trickling in about the as-yet-untitled 24th James Bond film. As of now, we know three things: Sam Mendes will return to direct, Christoph Waltz might play Blofeld, and Sherlock‘s Dr. Moriarty, Andrew Scott, has joined the cast as one of the villains.

An insider told the Mirror: “Andrew was hand-picked for a role in the new Bond movie after film bosses loved his star turn in Sherlock.
“Casting directors thought he was perfect to play a baddie and they wanted to use his existing Sherlock profile – and amp it up to the next level.
I’m all for this. I thought Scott was great as Moriarty, and if he and Waltz turn out to be the villains, Bond 24 could have the craziest rogues’ gallery yet. But on the flipside, we’re about to see a bunch of really fucked-up fan art from SuperWhoLock people with Scott whipping Daniel Craig or something.
