So, personal opinion: Star Wars Episode IX sucked ass. Mostly because one of Hollywood’s greatest hacks got in good with Aunt Kathy, who decided that JJ Abrams, a man who has never successfully finished anything, should be the one to end the awful sequel trilogy.

But, sometime after, Colin Trevorrow’s original script for Episode IX got leaked. And, shocker, pretty much everyone thought it was better.

Which leads us to this: someone animated summary of the leaked Duel of the Fates script that never was. Mr. Sunday Movies, in collaboration with animator and artist Ethan Taylor, put the whole thing together in short, animated form. You can watch it below.

I mean, it’s still not necessarily great. But it’s definitely better than what we got. I think?
