Sony Pictures Accidentally Uploads Entire Film to YouTube Instead of Trailer

Sony Pictures

Quite the boner, I’d say.

You might’ve thought that all had been quiet on the Sony Pictures front. And you would’ve been right, until yesterday.

Because they uploaded the entirety of a movie by accident instead of its red band trailer.

I’ll give you a minute to stop laughing.

Okay, so the movie in question was Khali the Killer, which saw a home video release November 2017, according to CBR (who first reported the blunder, too). The film is going to see a theatrical release this year, hence the need to upload a trailer. Unfortunately, someone accidentally uploaded the entire film to the Sony Pictures Entertainment YouTube page in place of said trailer.

And it stayed up on their page until about midday. Which I presume would be the point at which someone noticed that something had gone wrong. Needless to say, Sony Pictures hasn’t commented on the debacle. But, hey, at least some people got to see (and possibly get a pretty clean rip of) a movie about a former hitman lured back into the underworld for one last job.
