Sony Pictures Making Spider-Man Spinoffs Starting with Morbius, the Living Vampire

I thought they weren’t doing this.

Look, Spider-Man: Homecoming was actually a good movie. So I’d figured that Sony Pictures would abandon their plans to make a cinematic universe out of Spider-Man villains. In this case, however, Morbius, the Living Vampire is getting a movie. It will have nothing to do with the Homecoming version of Spidey, though.

The film has already had a script turned in, penned by Burk Sharpless and Matt Sazama. You might remember them from Power Rangers, Dracula Untold, Gods of Egypt, and The Last Witch Hunter. So, I guess what I’m trying to say is, pray.
