Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection Is Coming

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection

Clankers!

You might recall how many players were disappointed with the more recent entries in the Star Wars: Battlefront series, pining for the fjords the original games. Well, the good news is that Aspyr, who have been on a roll when it comes to porting these older Star Wars games to modern consoles, is bringing the Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.

Not only will it run on your modern box of choice, not only will it have functioning servers for its 64-player online games, it will also include all of the previously console-specific content across all versions of both games.

Oh and, yes, it’ll be Steam Deck verified.

The games will feature their full singleplayer campaigns as well. In addition, on all platforms where they apply, the collection will also include Achievements/Trophies. Oh, and if what you really wanted was some splitscreen action like back in the day? They’ve got that, too.

The Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection will launch cross-platform on March 14th, 2024, for $35.01.
