Star Wars: The Clone Wars Returns for a Farewell Season

Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Returned, the Clone Wars have.

One of the initially sad things about Disney purchasing Lucasfilm was the fact that it essentially cancelled Star Wars: The Clone Wars. And while some of the storylines were wrapped up in Star Wars Rebels, as well as a few novels and comics, that just isn’t the same.

But good news! The Clone Wars 10th Anniversary Panel at SDCChad a welcome surprise. Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming back for one final season. It’ll be 12 episodes long, and will wrap up the remaining plot threads that were left dangling in the wind.

Dave Filoni is returning for this, too. The Season will be exclusive to Disney’s streaming service. And no release date has been announced. But get hyped.
