In addition to a new album coming out… sometime, Taylor Swift has spent a fair amount of time chatting with fans on social media. Tumblr included. Even going so far as to visit a fan at their house and joining in Instagram Lives.

And so, she’s decided that she’ll unite all her fans on one social media app of her own. Thus, The Swift Life shall be born.

Naturally, fanatics and neckbeards who’ve plastered posters of Taylor Swift all over their rooms are very excited about this. I’m pretty sure it’s going to be more of a digital version of the fan club of yore, though. And most of these people don’t seem to realize that simply creating a new app isn’t actually going to shake those people commenting that she voted for Trump. Which, if she did:

But hey, you know, if Taylor Swift is going to take the most obnoxious people from Twitter, Instagram and especially Tumblr, more power to her. I’m really hoping she takes MovieBob and those godawful artists that make hideous Boku No Hero Academia and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure art with them. The Swift Life allegedly launches sometime before the end of this year.
