The Toys ‘R’ Us Liquidation Sales Have Begun

Toys 'R' Us

So long, Geoffrey.

Well, Toys ‘R’ Us has lost the battle. While they had planned on keeping several hundred of their stores open, that is no longer the case. All of their stores will be closing now, as they filed for liquidation last week.

Starting today, most Toys ‘R’ Us stores will be having a massive sale on all items in store. The sales will run through June, after which the retailer will fundamentally be no more. While it’s sad to see them go, you’ll be able to get some deep discounts on the good stuff. And, you know, say goodbye to Geoffrey.

Bain Capital’s like, 2-0 against the toy retailers it bought and killed with stupid bullshit. It’s almost like Mitt Romney hates kids and/or fun, or something.
