Actor, director, and singer Tim Blake Nelson might be joining Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four. You know what this means?
Enter…the MOLE MAN!
Nelson will play Harvey Elder, an eccentric and socially awkward scientist.
In comics lore, Elder is actually the Mole Man, shunned by humanity and leader of a subterranean group of monsters known as the Moloids.
Sources say the Mole Man will not appear in this movie but Elder’s appearance does set up the character to be the villain in future installments of the franchise. Fox did not comment on the plans.
Obviously this will have no impact on his return as Dr. Samuel Stearns, because if Hollywood has taught us one thing, it’s that there will never be a sequel to a Hulk movie. Hopefully, with some drastic rewrites, we can get Nelson to play a much more sinister Moleman…
