Marvel Studios along with Sony Pictures have announced the next actor to take on the mantle of Spider-Man. After a long search nineteen year-old actor Tom Holland “The Impossible” will take of the mantle of the superhero in the next film that is scheduled to hit July, 2017.

Sony is financing the film and is working closely with Marvel to bring a new Spider-Man to movie goers. Marvel’s Kevin Feige will be co-producing the new film and bringing a new creative direction the the web-slinger.

Holland is expected to cameo in some form in the upcoming “Captain America: Civil War” so as to integrate this new Spider-Man into the Marvel Cinematic Universe Marvel film.
