Oh shit, what are we gonna do now?

Well, Bumblebee‘s first trailer is out now. You can see it below. And you know, for someone that checked out after the first Michael Bay movie, there’s actually stuff to like about it.

For one thing, the designers finally have things figured out to a T. Both Bumblebee and Starscream have more than enough color and solid parts to identify them to viewers. You know, instead of being a confusing jumble of metal.

There also seems to be a love story element here, and I don’t know how to feel about that. I’ve been burned by Transformers-related love stories before. And you really only need to see The Girl Who Loved Powerglide once to know it’s shit (also, 6.4/10? Really, IMDB?). Plus, the less said about Transformers: Kiss Players, the better.

Still, we’ll know more when Bumblebee hits theaters, December 21st this year.
