Tron is such an interesting property in both games and film. People rave about Tron, but sales for anything Tron related have always been middling at best. I love the idea behind Tron, but other than that it isn’t something that calls to me. Still, I have played a number of Tron games, mostly back on early computer systems, but now it seems that we are getting a new game for PS4 and Xbox One.
Disney is releasing Tron Run/r (to possibly gauge interest for future projects?) which will hit consoles on February 16th. Tron Run/r will set you back $20, making it a budget title, but if you want to get a jump-start with the game and you have a PC, you can can get it now via Steam via Early Access.
The game lets players take part in various events from the Tron films from a third person point of view and looks to be an endless runner style games, something most associated with mobile games. The game is slated to have 30 levels and players will be able to customize their own personal avatar to take on other players.
