J.J. (Jar Jar?) Abrams is pretty much the king of the nerds at this point. He is responsible for revitalizing the two largest science fiction series in the history of cinema. So much so that The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that the first trailer for the upcoming Star Trek Beyond will run before Star Wars The Force Awakens. So not only are you going to see a history making film, but you will also get to catch some pretty awesome trailers; hopefully none that feature Kevin Hart in the same cookie cutter script.
Star Trek Beyond won’t be the only high profile trailer showing before Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Those in the theater will also get to catch new trailers for include the blockbusters Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, The Huntsman’s Winter War, X-Men: Apocalypse, and Independence Day: Resurgence.
